Hell breaks as a red chasm through brilliant blue in the last judgement scene at Voronet Monastery. On the right an angel sounds the last trumpet on an alpine horn. In response graves open and wild animals come bearing the limbs they have once devoured. On the left souls are being weighed. Photo Mick Palarczyk.
