’I didn't do my homework.’
When asked why he was wearing medieval stocks around his neck, this boy in Les Baux-de-Provence jovially stated that he was being punished for not doing his homework.
During the summer, some medieval events are organized in the village of Les Baux-de-Provence, including a 'medieval' market. The boy's father had a stall with medieval replica's, including the stocks, and the juvenile sinner thought up the prank to give the occasional passerby a little scare.
