Smit & Palarczyk > [ITALY.PIEMONTE 01713] 'Round-trip-boat.' At the Lago Maggiore the round-trip-boats, connecting important sights and towns all around the lake, are exclusively aimed at summer tourists, therefore offering no good alternative to the car out of season. Neither do they sail in the evening. Which make them no true part of public transport, as is the case at some lakes in the northern Alps. Photo Paul Smit.
