Smit & Palarczyk > [SWITZER.TICINO 01357] 'Ascona.' At the end of the sixties Ascona was for Switzerland what St. Tropez was for France. The creative of the world attracted the wealthy and nowhere in the world you saw more Lamborghinis and Rolls Royces. The money is still there, but got older. Smit & Palarczyk > [ITALY.PIEMONTE 01623] 'Evening in Pallanza.' After sunset sauntering is the thing to do along the boulevard of Pallanza, the prettiest town of the Verbania municipality. Although the saunterers have vanished in the long photo exposure, the film did register other typical mediterranean lakeshore ingredients. Photo Paul Smit.

Smit & Palarczyk > [GERMANY.BAWU 00784] 'Port of Konstanz.' Permanently turning around her axis, legendary hooker Imperia shows her beauty to whoever enters the port of Konstanz. During the days of the Council of Constance pope and emperor were in her spell. Photo Paul Smit.
Smit & Palarczyk > [GERMANY.BAYER 00677] 'White fleet in Lindau.' Good alternative to the car: the 'Weiße Flotte', as the combined German, Swiss and Austrian round-trip-boats on the Bodensee are called. Punctual, arriving at all main destinations and accepting cyclists. Photo Paul Smit.
