Smit & Palarczyk > [RUSSIA.GOLDENRING 25.936] 'Spaso-Yevfimiev Monastery.' On the high eastern bank of the Kamenka River the Spaso-Yevfimiev Monastery is protected by sturdy walls. This Suzdalian monastery was founded in the 14th century to protect the northern entrance to the town. Its wooden structures were later replaced by stone buildings.
