	Old woman of the Walla Walla (or Warm Spring) Indian tribe and inhabitant of Simnasho village. Simnasho is situated in the Warm Springs Reservation which was established in 1855. In 1937 the three tribes living on these lands (the Wasco, the Walla Walla and the Paiute) organized themselves in the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. Photo Mick Palarczyk.
