'Jonah spit out by the fish on Akdamar Island.'

According to the Jewish tradition Jonah was naked when he was disgorged by the big fish that swallowed him, because his garments and hair were consumed in the belly of the beast. To protect him from the sun God caused the growth of a plant with big shadow bringing leaves.
