’Leading the damned to hell.’

The altar wall of the Chapelle des Pénitents Blancs at La Tour shows several devils leading the damned to the mouth of hell. The image is part of a Last Judgment scene that was executed in 1492 by Currand Bravesi and Guirard Nadal, two of the so-called 'peintres primitifs niçois' (primitive painters of Nice).
